Resting Place
For this painting, I wanted to depict waterfowls with a winter scenery of snowy mountain in the background. During one of many trips with my family to the Sacramento National Refuge, I saw a perfect view of Snow Mountain, and it inspired me to paint this scene. I thought the White Fronted geese, which migrate here in the winter, would stand out perfectly in the colorful background.
